Who doesn't love the holidays? The winter months are a time for celebration and warmth in chillier weather; for bright lights and festive cheer in the darker days. In Corona, families of all cultural traditions go all-out to express their festive spirit during the...
Moving into a new neighborhood can be daunting, especially for young families looking to put down roots for their children. However, I firmly believe that the best way to feel at home in a community is to engage with it by participating in town events. In my home city of Corona, California, there are ample opportunities for those of all ages to get involved and feel more at home in their community; below, I’ve listed a few volunteer opportunities currently open to those living and working in the area. What do you do on your weekend? Or, perhaps the better question: what could you be doing with your weekend? But is that couch-potato relaxation all it’s talked up to be? I would argue not. As an active community member, I enjoy stepping outside and exploring my hometown of Corona on weekends. I’ve found that even on slow days, Corona always has something to offer to those looking for a bit of excitement or an opportunity to learn and engage with other community members. Below, I’ve listed a few events to come in November – so stop boring yourself with endless reruns on weekends and pencil these opportunities into your calendar!
There are many reasons why I love living in Corona, California – but I think I might love the views the most. No matter where in the city I find myself, I know that I only need to turn to see the beautiful purple-blue mountains standing just outside the city. When I need a break from the urban bustle, I hop in my car and drive the few miles over to the mountain trails to spend a few hours taking in California’s natural beauty.
In my time living and working in Corona, CA, I’ve stumbled across a number of wonderfully family-friendly attractions that any parent would love. I list a few here; but remember, these are only a few of the many wonderful establishments available in the area!
